El ELN entregó los restos mortales de Tulio Mosquera, el exalcalde de Alto Baudó que murió en cautiverio.
El cuerpo del líder político de 49 años fue recibido por una comisión de la Cruz Roja Internacional y de la Diócesis de Istmina Tadó, en zona rural del Bajo San Juan, posteriormente trasladado hasta Quibdó.
El presidente Iván Duque dijo que la muerte de Tulio Mosquera “es derivada de su macabro secuestro”.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter el mandatario aseguró que” El ELN una vez más muestra su barbarie, su terrorismo y su degradación absoluta con el vil asesinato de Tulio Mosquera. Quieren presentarse “humanitarios” entregando su cadaver, pero está claro que su muerte es derivada de su macabro secuestro”.
A estas declaraciones se sumó el Comisionado para la paz Juan Camilo Restrepo quien aseguró que a la guerrilla no se le debe agradecer por este vil acto.
“No se puede tener un sentimiento de gratitud con el ELN un grupo armado al margen de la ley. Es bueno recordar que el señor Mosquera murió secuestrado” dijo.
El gobierno reiteró que el grupo armado debe cesar las actividades crimínales “que cese el secuestró, que dejen de instalar minas antipersona, que dejen de reclutar menores y dejen su actividad de narcotráfico” puntualizó Restrepo.
