La Policía española desmanteló una organización delincuencial que explotaba sexualmente a mujeres que eran engañadas en Colombia . Según las autoridades del país ibérico, las mujeres captadas por la red criminal eran extorsionadas, sometidas y obligadas a drogarse.
La operación policial, denominada Malus-Somnia-Meso, se enfocó en Ciudad Real y Granada, donde según las investigaciones permanecían las víctimas en condicones degradantes. En la acción de las autoridades, cinco mujeres fueron liberadas.
«Las víctimas engañadas eran trasladadas desde sus países de origen hasta España, utilizando cartas de invitación expedidas por personas cercanas a la organización. Una vez en España, las víctimas eran ubicadas en distintas viviendas, siendo obligadas a mantener relaciones sexuales con diferentes clientes, sin que les fueran respetados sus derechos fundamentales. Todas las víctimas eran extorsionadas y obligadas a pagar supuestas deudas adquiridas con la organizació n, amenazándolas con hacer daño a familiares en sus países de origen si no accedían a las imposiciones de sus captores», señaló la Policía.
De acuerdo con las investigaciones, las mujeres víctimas de trata «eran obligadas sistemáticamente a consumir sustancias estupefacientes».
Los delincuentes promocionaban a las mujeres a través de páginas web con anuncios, de los cuales las autoridades lograron identificar más de 3.000
«La operación se ha saldado con la detención de seis personas. Se trata de cuatro mujeres, tres de ellas de nacionalidad colombiana y una española, y dos hombres de las mismas nacionalidades. Otras tres personas están siendo investigadas, todas ellas en las provincias de Ciudad Real y Granada. A todos ellos se les investiga por delitos de trata de seres humanos con fines de explotación sexual, blanqueo de capitales, pertenencia a organización criminal y delitos contra la salud pública», comunicó la Policía española.
