El director de la Dijín, general Fernando Murillo, manifestó que ya son 34 actividades terroristas que se han registrado en el transcurso del año, en época preelectoral.

Agregó que dichos conocimientos son compartidos permanentemente con la Fiscalía General de la Nación a través de su grupo antiexplosivos del CTI, con las Fuerzas Militares a través de sus grupos antiexplosivos de estas instituciones.
Consideró el general Murillo, que gracias a esta preparación por parte de las autoridades de Estados Unidos, este año se han podido resolver casos cómo el hecho en el que perdieron dos dos de los mejores hombres activos de la Dijín, en el atentado en el aeropuerto de Cúcuta.
