El Presidente de la República, Iván Duque Márquez, confirmó que el país llegó al 70% de la población con una sola dosis aplicada de las vacunas contra el coronavirus.
“Estamos en pocos días llegando al 50% de la población con dos dosis y tenemos que convertir en un propósito de país, en un propósito nacional llegar, en estas semanas que nos quedan del año, a ese 70% con doble dosis”, afirmó el Jefe de Estado desde la capital de Córdoba, donde se desarrolló el encuentro ‘Cumpliéndoles a las Regiones’.
Afirmó que seguir alcanzando las metas trazadas depende de todos los colombianos, de su asistencia a los puestos de vacunación y cumplir con las jornadas de inmunización, observando también los protocolos de bioseguridad.
“Ese es un mensaje de lo que hace nuestro país en la vacunación masiva y segura.
Muchos dijeron que no habría vacunación masiva este año, que llegaría en 2023; muchos dijeron que no teníamos nada organizado. Hoy decimos que ya logramos la primera macrometa del 70% de la población colombiana con una dosis aplicada, y ese es un logro de todos”, manifestó.
