Al tiempo que la Alcaldía de Florencia ha gastado más de 840 millones de pesos entre la feria equina de hace dos semanas y el San Pedro venidero, cientos de familias siguen padeciendo hambre, desnutrición, desempleo y necesidad, sin que a nadie le importe.
La menor fallecida de 11 meses residente en la vereda Chocagos, en zona rural de Florencia, había sido hospitalizada en la ciudad el pasado 15 de mayo y debido a la gravedad que presentaba fue trasladada a Neiva donde falleció cinco días después.
El dictamen de la muerte habría sido a causa de un choque distributivo producto de una desnutrición proteico calórica. La menor pertenecía a la EPS Asmet Salud y al parecer no reportaba alguna enfermedad de base.
Este hecho que, ha pasado por debajo de cuerda, prende las alarmas en la ciudad de Florencia y todo el departamento del Caquetá, una región sin oportunidades de empleo, con una tasa gigante de informalidad y con administraciones que no hacen nada por la gente.
Esto manifestó Norma Constanza Mendoza Álvarez, encargada de política social en la gobernación del Caquetá.
Alimentación escolar
Recordemos que el departamento estuvo sin alimentación escolar en 15 municipios por mas de 70 días, desatendiendo la obligación de brindar un complemento alimenticio a los menores que muchas veces, solo tienen esa ración para pasar la jornada.
Al día de hoy suena absurdo que la administración municipal de Florencia esté promoviendo una Vaki para recoger cerca de 220 millones de pesos. Buscan que todas las personas aporten y ellos se gastaron 120 millones de pesos en la feria equina de hace dos semanas, cuyo “objetivo” era recolectar fondos y hasta la fecha no han informado cuanto se recolectó, ni donde se gastó.
¿Cuántas familias se podrían alimentar con los 120 millones de la feria?, ¿Cuántas familias se podrían alimentar con los 720 millones del san Pedro?, ¿no será hora de pensar más en las necesidades primordiales de la gente? ¿qué ha hecho esta administración para fomentar el empleo en la capital? ¿a cuántos campesinos se están apoyando para que tengan un mínimo para vivir?
Se les está acabando el periodo a algunas administraciones que no tienen nada para mostrar.
