Gloria María Fernández Correa, de 60 años de edad, fue encontrada sin vida y con signos de violencia en la habitación 204 de un hotel cerca al centro de Medellín.
La mujer, según las investigaciones, ingresó en compañía de un hombre, quien al parecer sería su compañero sentimental y que horas después salió solo del lugar.
“Al tocar no respondía nadie, las personas de este lugar ingresan y ven un cuerpo sin vida. De acuerdo con la información preliminar, presenta algunas laceraciones en dos partes del cuerpo”, comunicó el coronel José Galindo, comandante operativo de la Policía Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá.
Aunque el hecho aún es materia de investigación, desde la Secretaría de la Mujer de Medellín condenaron el hecho.
“El caso de Gloria entrará en la Comisión Primera para análisis del Consejo de Seguridad Pública para Mujeres y de la Comisión Segunda emitiremos recomendaciones para su sanción efectiva y prevenir hechos como estos”, declaró Ana María Valle Villegas, secretaria de las Mujeres de Medellín.
En lo corrido del año, en Medellín han sido asesinadas 28 mujeres, 22 de los casos ya son confirmados como feminicidios, dos casos menos que el año anterior.
“Exigimos a la justicia celeridad en la investigación y justicia para Gloria y su familia. Nada justifica la violencia contra las mujeres”, agregó Ana María Valle Villega.
El hombre que ingresó al hotel con la mujer de 60 años fue vinculado al caso, mientras las autoridades esclarecen el crimen.
