La jueza 42 de Conocimiento de Bogotá condenó a Paul Naranjo y Julián Ortegón por el feminicidio de Ana María Castro.
Ana María Castro, una joven de 21 años, fue asesinada en la madrugada del 5 de marzo de 2020, cuando fuera lanzada desde una camioneta en movimiento sobre la calle 80 en el norte de Bogotá.
La jueza estableció que la Fiscalía presentó las pruebas suficientes para demostrar la responsabilidad de Naranjo y Ortegón en el crimen, puesto que ellos fueron las últimas personas que la vieron con vida
Además, quedó comprobado que hubo contradicciones en los testimonios de los procesados. Por un lado, Naranjo dijo que la mujer bajó del vehículo con Mateo Reyes, mientras que Ortegón dijo que la víctima iba recostada cuando el vehículo arrancó de manera violenta.

Durante la investigación se demostró que los procesados participaron de un plan para hacerle daño a Ana María Castro.
El 18 de febrero de 2022 a las 8:00 a.m. se conocerá cuántos años permanecerán en prisión.
