Una tragedia se presentó este jueves en el departamento de Antioquia. Las autoridades de socorro confirmaron esta mañana la muerte de ocho personas y varios desaparecidos en el municipio de Abriaquí, occidente de Antioquia, por emergencia causada por lluvias.
Una comisión de la Gobernación y municipios vecinos se trasladaron al lugar para apoyar en la atención de la emergencia. A esta hora, los organismos de socorro y bomberos adelantan las labores de búsqueda entre el barrio, el sedimento y las aguas de las personas que están desaparecidas, mientras que han rescatado los cadáveres y evacuaron a los heridos al hospital municipal.
“Ya el Dagran está arribando en este momentico a nuestro municipio, ya viene muy cerca, hemos tenido apoyo de bomberos de Frontino, Cañasgordas, Buriticá, San Jerónimo y toda la comunidad. Desde el batallón militar también hemos recibido apoyo», relató Héctor Urrego, alcalde de Abriaquí.
Las emergencias por las lluvias en Antioquia ya dejan 15 personas muertas, además de más de 6.000 familias afectadas.
Abriaquí se encuentra a cuatro horas de Medellín.
