Las 17 EPS Que están en riesgo de ser liquidadas en 2022.

La junta directiva de la Asociación Colombiana de Empresas Sociales del Estado y Hospitales Públicos (Acesi) alertó sobre el incumplimiento de los indicadores financieros de varias EPS.

Este 31 de diciembre es el último día hábil para que más de 20 empresas promotoras de salud en Colombia cumplan los requerimientos del Decreto 2702 de 2014, el cual las obliga a acreditar un capital mínimo, patrimonio adecuado, reservas técnicas y un régimen de inversión de las reservas técnicas, tanto en el régimen subsidiado como contributivo. De no cumplir esto, deberán salir del mercado.

Esas empresas tuvieron siete años durante los cuales el Gobierno les dio todas las gabelas y oportunidades para que se recuperaran, y si no lo lograron en 2022 deben salir del mercado lo que causaría traumatismos para el sistema de salud, mucho más de lo que se vive hoy, porque las autoridades deberán ordenar traslados masivos de afiliados a EPS que sí cumplan la norma.

Añadido a esto, la multimillonaria cartera que quedaría en el aire, que según los expertos podría llegar a $10 billones, de los cuales ya tres billones son de entidades que están en proceso de liquidación o ya liquidadas.

“Esta es una muestra más de la enorme vulnerabilidad del sistema de seguridad social en salud del país, que falló y no fue capaz de garantizar el goce efectivo del derecho fundamental a la salud y que amenaza con la estabilidad de los hospitales públicos, porque la gran mayoría de las EPS que se irían a liquidar son del régimen subsidiado”, dijo Olga Lucía Zuluaga Rodríguez, directora de Acesi.

La directora de Acesi aclaró que la verificación del cumplimiento de los indicadores financieros de las EPS se prolongará hasta agosto, según un proyecto de decreto del Ministerio de Salud, lo que indica que el próximo presidente será inaugurado con la decisión de ordenar el cierre definitivo de muchas de las EPS que operan en Colombia.

Según los informes de seguimiento de la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud están incumpliendo este decreto las siguientes EPS:
