Capturan presunto responsable del homicidio de cuatro personas en Florencia, Caquetá.

Por buen camino avanzan las investigaciones realizadas por las autoridades con el fin de esclarecer los hechos donde fueron asesinadas cuatro personas, y cinco más resultaron heridas luego de un ataque sicarial en una gallera en zona rural de Florencia.

Después de la masacre ejecutada el pasado 10 de enero del presente año en la gallera el Picotazo de la vereda Mochilero, zona rural de la capital Caqueteña, donde en horas de la madrugada hombres armados sin mediar palabras realizaron un ataque sicarial que dejó como resultado la muerte de cuatro personas y cinco más lesionadas; las autoridades inmediatamente después de ocurridos estos hechos llegaron al lugar a realizar las labores de campo para la recolección de elementos materiales probatorios y evidencia física, y así lograr la captura de los presuntos responsables, para aclarar las circunstancias que originaron esta masacre.

Nueve meses después de la materialización de la segunda masacre que enlutó el país, la ocurrida en una gallera en zona rural de Florencia, el director de la Policía Nacional general Jorge Luis Vargas Valencia llegó hasta la puerta de oro de la amazonia colombiana a direccionar la investigación que hoy arroja un importante resultado, con la captura de uno de los presuntos autores materiales del homicidio colectivo, se trata de Gustavo Barreto Jiménez de 28 años, conocido en el mundo criminal como ‘Barreto’, quien según las investigaciones, la madrugada del 10 de enero de los corrientes llegó con otros tres individuos en dos motocicletas y dispararon con armas de fuego contra las personas que estaban departiendo en la gallera.

El trabajo investigativo de policía judicial fue desarrollado por expertos funcionarios designados directamente por el general Vargas Valencia, quien luego de su compromiso de contribuir a capturar los responsables, hoy se evidencia la efectividad de las capacidades técnico científicas de la institución castrense. En nueve meses de trabajo ya presentan a esta persona que presuntamente participó de la masacre.

También, los investigadores lograron identificar que ‘Barreto’ presenta una anotación judicial por el delito de homicidio, por los hechos ocurridos el pasado 12 de diciembre del año 2020 en la carrera 10 del barrio el Centro de Florencia, donde fue atacado con disparos de arma de fuego un integrante de la comunidad LGBTI. Por este hecho, fue capturado el pasado 21 de febrero de los corrientes y dejado en libertad el pasado 4 de agosto de este año por vencimiento de términos.

La captura del sindicado la materializaron funcionarios de la Seccional de Investigación Criminal (SIJIN) en coordinación con el Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (C.T.I.) en el barrio el Centro del municipio de Belén de los Andaquíes. El capturado fue dejado a disposición del Juzgado Tercero Municipal de Florencia por el delito de homicidio agravado. Al finalizar las audiencias, le fue impuesta medida de aseguramiento en centro carcelario.

Con este operativo, las autoridades avanzan por buen camino para esclarecer las circunstancias que originaron este lamentable suceso.
