Alerta entre las autoridades médicas del departamento por la escasez de donantes del banco de sangre del hospital María Inmaculada. Incremento en accidentalidad hacen que el tema se torne complicado a la hora de atender una emergencia.

Sobre el tema, el subdirector científico de la ESE María Inmaculada, Camilo Díaz, explicó que la donación de sangre es uno de los gestos más importantes de solidaridad que un ser humano puede hacer por otro, y de no ocurrir, la situación al interior de los hospitales de la región sería muy complicado.

El galeno reiteró el llamado a la ciudadanía para que se acerquen hasta las instalaciones del banco de sangre y realicen su donación, especialmente tipos de plasma negativas como O y B.
