Dentro de su deseo por impulsar el turismo en la capital del departamento, los alcaldes de Florencia, el anterior y el actual, han trabajado arduamente para generar espacios que llamen la atención a turistas a nivel mundial. Para eso, se han creado al menos 5 de los lugares más oscuros del planeta.
La troncal del Hacha, La cicloruta del Aeropuerto, El sector de la Electrificadora, El sector de Transportadores y calle oscura, son lugares donde no se puede ver absolutamente nada. No hay alumbrado público y reina la oscuridad.
Pese a que en la administración pasada se invirtieron cerca de 15 mil millones de pesos en la instalación de luces led de última tecnología, hoy un porcentaje muy alto de las mismas ya no sirve. Las luces inteligentes que se compraron supuestamente en México, salieron peores que las Chinas.
La actual administración que desde un comienzo habló de recuperar el alumbrado, de sancionar al contratista y procesos judiciales contra el exmandatario, hasta el sol de hoy no se ve que haya hecho nada de lo anterior.
Mientras tanto las luces se siguen dañando, las calles oscureciendo, la inseguridad apareciendo y los responsables del desfalco, disfrutando.
Esta oscuridad en tantos sectores de Florencia es la responsable de muertes, de robos, de accidentes, de caídas, de miedo en los habitantes de los sectores afectados, quienes después de las 6 de la tarde están completamente vulnerables sin alumbrado.
Otros que no han hecho nada al respecto son los del Concejo Municipal de Florencia. En campaña alardeaban del control político y todo lo que harían por defender a los ciudadanos y ahora la mayoría están calladitos aprobando y sin chistar nada.
Como si fuera poco, todos seguimos pagando el impuesto de alumbrado público como si lo hubiera. Definitivamente este municipio y departamento se lo roban a diario como quieren y los organismos de control no hacen nada para evitarlo.
